A bunch of my holds came in yesterday. I’m reading Hark, A Vagrant right now and I’ve already decided to put in on my wish list. I need a copy of my very own. I’m really excited about The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making. I’ve heard good things about it. Beautiful Days is the sequel to Bright Young Things and is my ‘guilty pleasure’ book. I don’t believe in guilty pleasures because if something gives you pleasure you shouldn’t feel guilty about it (as long as it doesn’t involve illegal or harmful things, obviously), but this will definitely be a quick, fun read.
When I showed my boyfriend the top book, he got the most horrified look on his face. For the record, I will NOT be crafting anything out of my cat’s hair. My cat would produce some damn fine finger puppets, though.
