Here Comes 2012

Happy New Year!  I finally finished up Reverb 2011 and I’m ready for everything that 2012 has to offer.  I hope you’re having a fantastic new year so far.

28.  What are your dreams for next year?

I’ve never been the type of girl to ‘dream’ about my ‘dream wedding', but now that I’m faced with planning one I dream about having a relaxed, special day.  I dream about developing a consistent yoga practice because it’s what keeps me calm and centered and stress-free.  I dream about owning a home and simplifying my life.  I dream about making every day memorable.  I dream about starting a family as soon as possible.  I dream about reading good books and eating great food and spending time with the people who matter to me.

29.  Who will attract into your life?

Only positive people.  I’ve shed the people who don’t contribute anything positive and it feels good.

30.  What do you want to do in 2012?

I want to cook more, practice yoga as much as possible, read a picture book a day, read more chapter books, create healthier eating habits,

31.  Where do you hope to be on Jan 1, 2013?

In yoga, you set an intention at the beginning of your practice and lately mind has been four words:  Alive, Benevolent, Calm, Determined.  I repeat those four words to myself and carry them with me through my practice and beyond.  If I can carry these intentions through the year and for the rest of my life, I’ll always end up where I want and should be.  I hope to have a job and a permanent home and enough money to live comfortably, but as long as I have my co-pilot, my kitty girl, my health, and my family and friends, I’ll be fine even if we’re living in our parent’s basement.  My goal is to keep things in perspective and focus on being kind, peaceful, and mindful.  I found out the hard way this year that life is painfully short and I don’t want to waste anymore of mine.  Here’s to 2012.
