Currently

So, I caved and started reading A Song of Ice and Fire.  I said I wasn't going to do it, that I wanted to enjoy the show without comparing the two.  I couldn't do it.  I had to know what the big deal was, and now I know.  It's incredible.  It's all I've been reading since March.  I started reading a few things while waiting for my mom to finish A Dance With Dragons but I caved and bought my own copy. to buy my own copy.  I'm a sucker.

Even though I'm obsessed with ASOIAF, I'm still reading picture books, listening to audiobooks, and starting books and not finishing them.

Right now:

Audio
Revolution by Jennifer Donnelly.  This one is slow going.  I only listen to audiobooks in the car and on my bike.  The narrator annoys me and I'm only on disk five out of twelve.  The story is interesting and I'm hoping it picks up.  This might be one that I just need to finish in print, though.

Picture books
Bark, George by Jules Ffeiffer.  This book is a storytime winner.  Read it to the children, they will thank you.
Bone Dog by Eric Rohmann. This one will make you cry, unless you you have a heart of stone.
Here are all the picture books I've read this year so far.  I'm not entirely sure if non-members can view this, but if you're not on goodreads, get on it already.

Books
Pink Smog by Francesca Lia Block.  I was so geeked for a Weetzie prequel!  It's pretty good so far, but I won't be picking it back up until I'm done with A Dance With Dragons.

The Professor's Daughter by Joann Sfar and Emanuel Guibert.  This is a graphic novel and I finished it today.  It is very weird.  Try it, it takes ten minutes to read.

That's about it.  I have another stack of books checked out that I won't even bother touching until I'm done with A Dance With Dragons.  That should be another week at most.  Then back to real life until the sixth book comes out.

Any book suggestions besides Fifty Shades of Grey?
